What Does Love Mean?

There are many kinds of love in the world, for example, someone loves their family, and the other loves guys or women. However, what do you think love is? I think that love means understanding, believeing and forgiving each other. In the other words, if we can't do them, I don't think we can love. If we didn't understand each other, we wouldn't know why we love each other. If we didn't believe each other, we would doubt each other and couldn't love each other. If we didn't forgive each other, we would complain each other, and couldn't love each other. I don't know whether my opinion is true or not, but I want to try doing them.

My grandmother

I really like my grandmather. When I was a child, she took care of me becasue my parents have thier job. she is very kindly to everyone, but she is humble. That's why many people like her. I think that she may understand me more than my parents. When I had some probles, I talk with her, and she listend to me without feeling bothering. I think it's also the reason why many people like her. I want to be like my grandmother someday.

The Most Unusual Person in My Family

The most unusual person in my family is my mother. She is not so much unusual as man. Usually, women don't like bugs, but she likes observing them. When she was young, she was often asked to take cicadas by boys. Even if she grew up, she doesn't change. When she found a larva of cicada, she took it to our house, and she ovserved it's changing to imago in the early morning even if she has a job. she also observed the transportation of tadpoles into frogs. However, I do respect her and want to cherish her even if she is unusual.

The Most Beautiful Place I Have Seen

The most beautiful place I have seen is the park near my house. In the spring, the cherry blossoms are at their best in this park. The cherry blossom is a white flower, and it is a synonym for graduation becasue Japanese students graduate in the spring. When they fall from their trees by wind, it looks like snowing. we can see the same scene anywhere, but I would often go to tha school through this park, so the scene in this park reminds me of my school days. It makes this place more beautiful. That's why the most beautiful place I have seen is the park near my house.

Why Is Education Important to Me?

Many people think that education is important to get a good job. If we go to a good school, we can get a good job easily. In fact, I also think education is important to me because of getting a good job. However, in my case, it is not main reason. Education is important to me becasue I want to improve myself. If I learn a lot of things, I can have my idea which is logical. That's why Education is important to me.

My Purpose in Life

I wonder why I'm living when I have something bad. However, I don't think too much, and I forget it easily. If I was asked what is my purpose in life, what would I say about it? I would say I want to make as many people as possible happy. when I do something good for someone, such as my parents and my friends, and they become happy, I will also feel happy. I think this is my purpose in life. In adition, it may not be my purpose, but I want to die without any regret. If I didn't think there was regret in my life when I was dead, I would be glad to live my own lifetime. I try to live my life hard to accomplish in my life.

Introvert or Extrovert?

If I am asked which I am introvert or extrovert, I will say I am introvert. There are some reasons why I think that I am introvert. First of all, I like being alone better than doing something together. I do something with my best friends whom I really believe. Second, I can't talk with someone whom I first meet. I'm too shy to think what I should talk with them. Finally, If I have some problems, I don't talk with anyone usually. I try to solve by myself. I don't know if introvert is good or not. However I think I should become extrovert more, and I try to become extrovert more.

A Museum or a Park?

If I had to choose a museum or a park to go, I would rather go to a park. There are two reasons I choose a park. First of all, I am not interested in art. Whenever I go to the museums, I can't understand how good the art is. I can find some works which I become liking, but I don't think they have worth to be paid money. the another reason is I just like parks. usually, there are many trees in a park, and they change in every seasons such as changing leaves' color, so we can recognize the season is changing. I like feeling that the seasons change. That's why I would rather go to a park.

My Favorite Movie

My favorite movie is "Forrest Gump." This is the story about Forrest Gump's life. Although he is not smart, he is very pure and lives hard in the American history. The reason why I like this movie is his character. He encounters many difficulties such as his best friend's death. However, he conquers them and scores many success like "Life is like a chocolete box; you never know what you gonna get" of his mother's word. I want to live hard not to give up easily like him because "we never know what we gonna get."

The Meaning of LIving

When the TV show ask people how long they want to live, someone say they want to live as long as possible, the others say they want to live forever. In my case, I think it is enough to live about 100 years. I used to wish I could live forever becasue I was scared of death. However, I changed my mind even if I'm scared of death still now becasue I think there is no meaning of living forever. If I lived forever, I would have to experience my friend's deaths and have no firends. It would be boring. On the other hand, 100 years mean one century. I think it is enough for me to be able to see historical events in one century by myself. I"ll try to keep good health to live 100 years.

About Living in America

I have been here for one year. When I came here, there were many things I confused. However, I am accustomed to American life and I enjoy this life. My best things about living in America is making international friends. we talk about our countries each other. Whenever we talk about it, I always find soething new which I have never knew. It's true that I can check onthe Internet, but there is something different. In fact, there are difference between fact I heard from my friends and data I found on the Internet. I don't think I can experience in Japan, I want know as many things as possible here.

What Kind of Exercise?

When I was a junior high school student and high school student, I had a physical education and belonged to basketball club. However, I haven't had to exercise from myself since I came here becasue there is no class about exercise. That's why I think I should start some exercse for my health. I like the exerice which I play the games, such as basketball, succer and badminton. The reason is I can enjoy and have a goal which I win the game. On the other hand, I don't like jut running becasue there is nothing to do except running. It is very boring for me. I can keep doing something which I like, so I"ll play the games to keep exercise.

The Most Important Part of My Personality

The most important part of my personality is kindness. I don't think I'm kind, but I'm sometimes said I'm kind by my friends. When I do something for my friends, and I'm said so, I'm really happy, and I'm also glad that my friends are happy. I don't think I do something special for my friends. I just do something which everybody can do. However, if I'm really kind, I wan to keep it becasue I believe kindness can make people feel happy, and I feel happy when my friends do something kind for me.

My Happiest Moment

My happiest moment was I was accepted as the captain of the basketball club. When I was a junior high school student,I belonged to the basketball club. In addition, I was appointed as the captain when I was a senior. To tell the trust, I was not happy because I'm poor at leadership. In fact, I couldn't pull together the member. I really regretted that I became the captain. However, the last game made me change my mind. We won the game because of my shot. After the game, the member said to me that they were glad I was their captain. In that time, I was really happy, and I thought it was good for me to keep being a captain.

Too Shy!

When I was a child, I was too shy to talk so much. It was too hard for me to talk with someone whom I spoke at the first time. There are some example. When I had a play in the preschool, I was absent the play because I don't want to play in the front of audience. When I trnsfered to the new preschool, I cried on the first day when I went to the new preschool. I can't understad why I was so shy still now becasue I'm shy still now. However, I'm better than before. I can try to talk from myself now. I regard shy as my personality.

Relax

people always study and work hard, so we sometimes need to relax. when I want to relax, I take a walk. Usually, I take a walk in the night because I don't want to meet any friends and there is few people in the night. When I want to relax, I want to be alone remember about my life. I remember not only goof memory but also bud memory. By doing that, I can think I will live harder than before, and I don't feel tired.

What Is a Good Friend?

I think that everybody has a good friend and they have their own definitions about a good friend. My definitoin is that I can talk anything about myself or not. I'm really shy, so I rarely talk about myself. However, when I have a problem, I talk with my good friend. We trust each other. That's why I can talk to him even if my problem is a secret. He don't only hear my problem but also give me a advise. In fact, when I feel nervious, we send e-mail each other. I hope our relationship is forever.

My Dream

I have a Dream. It is to go to all countries. I do like taking a trip. However, I wasn't interested in trip when I was a child. It's true I enjoyed there, but I didn't feel anything. When I was a junior high school student, I went to Kyoto in Japan. I was really impressed the temple because there was a difference between to see the picture and to see the real temple. I hadn't think the temple was so big before I went there. that's why I changed my mind. I desided to see something as many as possible by myself. whenever I take a trip, I'm impressed food, building and culture. I hope I go to every country.

The Influence of Music

I like listening to the music. Usually, I listen to the music when I feel bored. I think that music is the reflection of society. For example, many CD are released every year. The words of some songs impress us, and many people are inspired by singing the songs. Also, music plays the role which inspire me in my role . When I feel sad, I cheer up by listening to the music. In other words, I think that music is the vital things for people. I hope that many good music come the world!

Space Life

Now, it is not too much to say that the age is the space age, and it will not long before the dream that we can take a trip to the space comes true. In the space, we will stay at the multi-national space station. If we take a trip another country, we can know only the culture, but by staying at the multi-national space station, we can share many countries' cultures each other. also, we can enjoy the space life. we will be able to take a vacation on a rocket ship as if we took a trip to another country even if it is expensive to do that.

Endangered Animals

Now, many endangered animals exist all over the world. They are endangered by human's activities, for example, poaching and environmental destruction. Then, how can I protect endangered animals as a common individual citizen? I can protect them by asking the government to make the law which prohibits poaching. I can also protect them by saving energy. I would choose "Iriomote Yamaneko" to protect first because Iriomote Yamaneko is the native animal of Okinawa which is prefecture in Japan, and I like Okinawa. However, we have duty to protect not only one endangered animal but also all endangered animals.

Fortune Telling

I want to believe in any kind of fortune telling, but I can't believe in them from the bottom of my heart. The reason is that they don't always bring me happy. I go to the shrine and buy a charm every new year, but it is like a Japanese custom, so I don't think it important for me to have it. After all, I don't think fortune telling is effective if we don't exert to get our wishes. If we try to do something hard, they remind us of what we did and make us relax when we challenge something. let's believe fortune telling after exerting hard!

Gambling

There are many gamblings in the world, for example, roulette, slot machine and horce racing. Some people in the USA think that gambling of all kinds should be outlawed, but I don't think that gambling of all kinds in the USA need to be outlawed. The reason why I don't think so is that gambling is one of the way to get away from the stress. In Japan, there are "Pachinko" and It is similar to slot machine. many Japanese adult play it on weekend. It is true that it is bad for people to gamble if gambling effects our lives badly, but I think we can gamble to just rest. After all, we shoud gamble moderately.

Taking a Risk

I think it important for people to take a risk because we can't succeed in anything if we don't take a risk. Also, we are satisfied with the success by taking a risk more than the success without taking a risk. However, I don't like taking risks because there is a strong possibility to fail challenges. There are three risks that I have taken in my life. First, I took the entrance examination of my high school without going to a cram school where most students go. Second, I used to take the tests without preparing for them. Finally, I would often sleep as well as possible in spite of being late for school. Anyway, I don't think it bad for people to take a risk.

The Causes and Effects of Laughter

Everybody laughs, feel angry and feel sad, but I think that laughter is the best things of this three feelings. Then, what are the causes and effects of laughter? we should laugh when we see something funny such as movie. We should also laugh when we feel happy, for example, when we pass the exams. After laughing, we can feel happier than before. I watched Japanese TV show about health that laughing is good for our health. For example, if we laugh before we go to bed, we can sleep beter than without laughing. In Japan, there is a proverb which means that you can get happy if you laugh, so I want to keep laughing no matter what may come.

My Favorite Book

My favorite books are Harry Poter series. Usually, I don't read books but read comics because I don't like to read many words. In fact, I had not been interested in this book at first, but I had a homework that I read a book and write about that, so I decided to read Harry Potter. The storry is that the hero is Harry Potter who is the boy of wizard and he fights wizard od evil with his friends goin to magic school. The reason why I like this series is I can't think what happens to the end until I read the end, and I can imagine their school lives as if I was a their classmate when I read about thier school lives. The last volume will be published soon, so I'm looking forward to reading that.

The Place of Remembrance

I have a place od my remembrance. It is a park where I lived near in Japan. I had a dog as a pet, so I would take him for a walk to this park everyday. There is also my junior high school where the park is near. I would go to school passing through the park with my friends. In other words, I went to the park every morning and evening. when I go to the park, I can feel the four seasons. I can see many cherry blossoms when it's spring. I can see many beautiful green leaves when it's summer. I can see many red and yellow leaves when it's fall. I can sometimes see white seen because of snow when it's winter. This is my best place!

The Next Great Invention

I think that the next great invention is the time machine. There are many stories about the time machine. As you know from that, the time machine is humans dream. We can go to the past and future by the time machine. In other words, we can see what happened in the past and will happen in the future. We can also change the history, but some stories say that it's not good to do becasue all history would change. however, if the time machine was invented, I would want to go to the past better than the future becasue I have some past which I want to change. Anyway, I hope the time machine will be invested as soon as possible.

Addictions

There are many addictons such as to television, drugs, smoking, chocolate, alcohol, etc.... I think the reason why people have addctions is that they don't have strong wills. In fact, I think that I have a addiciton to television because I watch TV even if I don't think this TV program is interesting. If I had a stong will, I could stop watching TV, but I can't do that because of my week will. We have to have strong will, or we will loose friends and get crucial diseases.

Which Gender is Stronger?

There are men and women in the world, but they aren't equal. I think that men was stronger than women before. It was difficult for women to find a job, so they had to obey men's oreder. However, I think that women is stronger than men now. It is easy for women to find a job, so they can live by them self. In other words, women don't have to obey men's order. In Japan, the number of old couple who divorce has been increasing now. It menas that many women can live their own lives. In contrast, a survey shows many old men who divorced live shorteter than men who don't divorce because of shock. In other words, men can't live withoutwomen, so I think that women is stronger than men.

A Proverb in Japan

There is a Japanese proverb which is called "Hyakubun wa ikken ni shikazu". If this proverb is translated rough, it is listening a hundred times can't reach seeing one time. It equals the American proverb which is called "Seeing is believing". It means that we can understand by seeing one time better than by listening a hundred times. I believe this proverb. One of the examples is Alamo in San Antonio. I had thought Alamo was a very big monument by the time I went there, but I recognized that Alamo is smaller than a thing that I imagened. Therefore, I feel like seeing everything by myself.

The Most Important Thing for Me at Here

The most important thing that I brought with me from Japan when I came here to the United States is the camera. My father bought it for me when I went back to Japan. The reason why it is so important is camera can make my memory clearer. At first, I hadn't thought I needed a camera because people can memorize their experiences by themself. but I recognized that we can momorize clearly by camera when I saw a yearbook. It is true that I remember where I went, but I could recall what I did there, so I thought I need a camera. In fact, camera is very useful for me now. I want to take many picture to memorize experience at here.

Good Friend

I like talking very much, but I can't talk with everybody very well. In other words, my good friends are the people who be able to talk with me very well. One of my good friends' name is Motoki whom I met when I was a high school student. We used to go to eat something after school and we talked,talked and talked. I don't know why we could talk long time, but I think one of the reasons was our topics which were our friends, gossip and society was always changed while we talked. our the longest talking time that took place by phone was almost 6hours! I think I can't find friend like him easily, so I want to keep touch with him

What is best frined?

What do you think about best friend for you? I have some best frineds in my life. I'll explain about them. First of all, I think my best friends are people who can talk everything each other. If I had some trouble which I can't talk anyone, I could talk them about that, and they would give me some advices. second, my best frineds are people who can trust each other. I think I can tell them everything because I can trust them. Third, I feel comfortable whenever I am with them. I can't explain that well, but I really enjoy whenever I am with them. My frineds are my treasure, so I want to keep them friendly.

Monaco

If I could live anywhere in the world, I would want to live Monaco! I am interested in Europe, especially, France, and Monaco is near France, so I would want to live there. I heard that There are many good places in Monaco, so I don't think that I am bored. If I lived in Monaco, I could watch F1 every year, so I think the life in Monaco would be very exiciting! I want to live Monaco someday.

The following modern conveniences

I find that cell phone is the most helpful thngs because there are many functions in cell phone such as camera, music player and TV. Because of camera in cell phone, we can take picture everywhere wituhout bringing camera if we have a cell phone. Like camera, we can listen to the music and watch TV without them. I think cell phone will be added more functions. if so, I think that I can't live without cellphone!

I Have a Dream

I have a dream like Martin Luther King Jr, but It's for myself. My dream is going to around the world. I want to experience every countries's cultures. I want to look everything in foreign countries. At first, I had thought that it's enough for me to watch TV and read books about foreign countries, but now, I haven't been thinking that it's enough for me to do since I came the USA. The reason is that there are many thing I can't understand without experience by myself, so I want to study many language to go many country by maself and I hope my dream come true.

What have I learned in the USA?

I have been in Texas for almost 7 months. Before I came the USA, I had been nervous, but I have been enjoying my life in Texas. What I have learned is that Japan is famous. many peope know some Japanese words, and like Japanese food, for example, sushi. Many people also use Japanese cars, for example, Toyota, Honda and Nissan. Before I came the USA, I had heard that some people don't even know where Japan is, so I had thought that Japan is not a famous country but I have been proud that I am a Japanese since I learned that.

Test in Practical Engilsh Proficiency

There is test in practical English proficiency in Japan. There are 7 levels. I had taken the most easiest level and the second easiest level, and I thought that I took next level. Before I took the test, I had studied very hard to pass it. Unfortunately, I had been catching cold when test was carried out, but I decided to do my vest. I had been nervous by the time I knew my result. When I knew that I passed it, I was so happy! I learned that I mustn't give up from that.

Onigiri

Do you know Onigiri? This ward is a Japanese word. If it is translated from Japanese into English, It is called a rice ball. Onigiri is my favorite food. I love it! In Japan, We eat them usually when we go to picnic or like that because it is easy for us to bring them, so many Japanese mothers make them as lunch. We can also find them in all Japanese convenience store. I have two reasons why I like them. first reason is that I love rice! When I was in Japan, I always ate rice. the second reason is there are many kind of Onigiri. We put many kinds of ingredient in Onigiri, for example, salmon, tuna and kelp. In fact, we can find many kind of Onigiri in Japanese convenience store and many new Onigiri are being sold. I like trying to eat them. I think you can understand that I really love Onigiri, I want to eat many kind of Onigiri in future.

About My Friend

I think everybody has best friends. In fact, I have my best friend. Today,I'm going to retrace our past events. To tell the truth, I don't remember how we met clearly even if he is my best friend. I just remember he tranfered to my school from another school, but he remembers clearly. He says that I spoke to him while he was preparing for going back to his home. When I spoke to him, He was confused with me because he couldn't remember my name. This is our first talking, but we can talk everything now. We belonged to a basketball club when we was junior high school students. We practiced basketball hard to play games even if we had no club. We really liked talking! We could talk for about 4 hours. after graduating junir high school, we went to different high school and we are in different country now, but we keep in with each other. we have been best frined and I hope we would be best friend forever!!

If…

If stranded on a desert on a desert island, whoud you want a table knife or a spoon? In my case, I would. The reason why I would want a table knife or a spoon is that I think they should be
useful for the life on the desert and desert island. I heard that everything which exist on this world is useful for something to do. It is true I wouldn't use them to eat something, but I may use them to escape from there, so I want to have everything as many as possible. I would also want to carry a compass, a water bottle, a cell phone and a talisman. Compass should be useful for knowing the directions. Water bottle is useful to bring water when I would find the oasis. I think we can use cell phone everywherer in these days, so I wish I can use a cell phone to call someone even if I was on a desert. The reson why I choose a talisman is it should support me when I gloom. Anyway, I would do my best to help escape from there!!
